Dr. Ali Said Akaak is an Assistant Professor of Business and Tourism Management at the University of Technology and Applied Sciences (UTAS), Oman. He is currently a Fulbright Visiting Scholar at the University of Arizona (USA), where he focuses on sustainable tourism, nature-based destination management, and smart tourism applications. His work emphasizes capacity building, policy-oriented research, and international collaboration aligned with Oman Vision 2040, engaging government, industry, and academic partners to advance tourism education and practice.
